At Mountain Haven Ranch, our mission is to provide shelter and support to rescue horses and donkeys. We believe that every animal deserves a safe place to call home, and we work tirelessly to make that a reality.

This pair was saved in Texas after being passed around from Arkansas, Oklahoma and now Colorado.  Ernie the white and grey is SO sweet - Otis is still scared of people. We are working with specialists to help them come out of their shells and feel safe.

This beauty is a perfectly good riding mare, that was about to placed on a truck to Mexico from Texas.  We could not let that happen, so she is here with us and getting loved on by a horse crazy teenage girl!  Welcome to safety at the ranch pretty girl!
